Being in the brewing industry for over 18 years, I was recently inspired to make the investment to start Seacoast Artisanal to address the challenges I have personally experienced with other mobile canning companies across New England by offering low minimum on canning runs, Flexible scheduling and bottling service for 12 and 22 oz. bottles.
Most canning companies run larger (e.g. Wild Goose) canning lines that require larger volume of beer. We use the Alpha Beer Cannon 2 which allows us to do canning runs as low as 5.5 Bbls or 80 Cases of 16 oz. cans on site at your brewery. Additionally, we have the ability to do runs smaller than 6Bbls (as low as 2Bbls) at our facility in Hampton, NH.
We also work to find ways to help breweries meet minimums by offering unlimited style runs and bottling for 16 and 22oz bottles, including Barrel Aged beers! We use an HDP bottle filler that runs a double CO2 purge on the bottles, so you feel confident in knowing that your bottle is completely free of O2. We keep our prices fair by charging per can/bottle and no “membership fees.”
Another benefit of canning with Seacoast Artisanal is flexibility of scheduling. There is nothing worse than having to cancel a canning run because your labels were not delivered on time or there is a problem with your CO2. Many other canning companies have rigid schedules with limited days and hours. If the schedule window is missed, your beer has to sit in the tanks setting your brewing schedule back a week or more while you wait for the next available run. Seacoast Artisanal offers canning options 24 hours a day and 7 days a week to account for the variability that comes along with the brewing and production processes.
